Riddle: House A is 20 meters from House B. House B is 20 meters from House C. How long is the line connecting House A and House C?
You are lost in a forest, and you come across two paths, guarded by two people. If you take the wrong path, you die, but if you take the right path, you escape from the forest into a land plentiful with HIV-negative men and women, and where alcohol and soda is everlasting. As for the guards, one of them tells nothing but lies, while the other always tells the truth. You can ask one guard one question in order to get out. What question can you ask that guarentees you will get out of the forest, regardless of which guard you ask?
A father and son get in a car accident; the father dies but the son is rushed to the emergency room. However, in the operating room, one of the surgeons states, "I can't operate on this boy, he is my son." How is that possible?
Jane's mother has three children, January, February, and a third child. What is the name of the third child?
A king has two sons. To decide which son will become king, he makes them race each other to a nearby city. However, the contest is that whichever son's horse makes it to the city last will become king, so it is the each of the sons' objective to get to the city last. So the two sons set off on the quest to make it to the city last. They are both on their horses, moving extremely slowly, and they both get off to go to sleep. When they wake up, they get on a horse and start racing toward the city as fast as they can. Why would they do this?
