The Prestige

WOW. This movie SUCKED. For those of you who don't know, it's about two magicians and an old guy who has something to do with magicians but isn't really a magician himself. That's really all I know, before AND after the movie. I don't know what the hell was going on, and I'm not stupid because I'm not the only one. In the bathroom, after the movie, somebody said, "How did you understand that movie?" and the other guy said "I just do," and although I didn't hear them say it was about The Prestige, it's obvious it was. There were some cool parts, like when a trick went wrong and somebody got hurt, but that was all. The movie just didn't make sense, I was actually BEGGING to myself for the movie to end, I wanted it to end already. But it didn't. It was long, and it could have been cut down to half an hour. I'm serious. There was a part where like these men were investigating someone, and somebody says, "Those are Thomas Edison's men... watch out for them." Then they end up like destroying a house or something. What the hell does Thomas Edison have to do with anything? It never explained it, that just didn't make any sense, like the rest of the movie.

Another funny thing, me and my friend bought tickets to the prestige and were going to go into Saw III, but these guys were guarding it, and my friend tries to go in and the guards say, "Do you have a ticket?" and he just turns around. It was hilarious.
