Spiderman 3

This was a good movie, I liked it a lot better than Spiderman 2. In Spiderman 2, Spiderman was like losing his powers and there wasn't that much action. I still enjoyed that one, but this was much better. It had a good moral, which I will state now instead of waiting till the end of the review. The moral: You can accomplish more and be stronger by taking the dark route, but you will become unliked and lose your former personality. Of course it was much more literal here in that an alien from space (not from Mehico!) took over Spiderman's suit and made it black. One thing I really liked was the guy who played the Sandman. His tough guy look, big ears, and crazy green-striped shirt made him a loveable, teddy-bear like character. See for yourself:

How can you not love that? Anyways, this movie was well-written, well-cast, well-acted, well-designed, and well. That's right, just plain well. I also liked how Topher Grace was funny, just like in That 70s Show. One part, near the end, he's like, "Hey, my Spider Sense is tingling, if you know what I mean," and that was funny. It was also interesting how in the credits it said, "Venom/Eddie Brock - Topher Grace", but they never said, when Topher turned to Venom, that his name was Venom. I saw the movie with my mom (that's right! Is that so wrong? Well it was mother's day, so ha now you got nothin'), and she didn't know that his name was Venom. I mean, it's basically common knowledge, but people who don't know Spiderman wouldn't know that. But anyway, great movie. And, just for kicks, one of the rotating pictures off on the left is of the dark Spiderman sitting on a ledge, and in Spiderman 3, that part was in the movie! I had that picture up there like 6 months before this movie came out, so I thought that was cool.

By the way, the thing that clinched it for me was this one AWESOME part, it was just so awesome. Peter confronted Harry like for the fortieth time to tell him that he didn't kill his father, and then they started fighting, and Peter was like, "I'm done trying to convince you," and that was awesome, and they fought, and of course Peter won, and he's walking away and Harry takes one of those Goblin bombs and throws them at Peter, and in slow motion Peter fluidly dodges out of the way, then shoots a web at the bomb, sticks it, and then pulls the bomb back like a rope, propelling the bomb back at Harry. It was just so freaking sweet, and that part alone gives this movie a:

9.5/10
