Deal or No Deal, now that's a good show. And Howie Mandel makes a great host. I was watching TV Guide, which I sometimes watch because I actually enjoy what's on it (isn't that pathetic), they were interviewing Howie Mandel and he said sometimes Deal or No Deal is a hard show to host, because he watches people who have so little say "No Deal" to a large amount of money just to try to make some more. If I was on that show, I would stop once I got over $100,000. Those people are freaking greedy, they have families but they keep going. I hate those people, and I wish misfortune upon them because of their unrelenting greed. I'll never stop watching that show though... until it's canceled, which after all is the inevitable fate of any TV show (except Simpsons, it seems).

I love those commercials on TV about prescription and over-the-counter drugs; personally, I find them hilarious. There's this one for something called Humera, and this is one of those commercials where it tells you what you are doing at a precise moment. Here's what the commercial says, from my memory.
"I know you, you're sitting there with rheumatoid arthritis. This is one of your good days, and you're going to wait. Till when? Till you can't, turn on a light. A piece of advice about waiting, don't, not when there's Humera".
I can't begin to say how many things are wrong with that. First, I don't have rheumatoid arthritis, every day is a good day for me, and even when I'm 80 I'm always going to be able to turn on lights. So that's a bad commercial, then there's one about weight loss, and the person is saying "you have stubborn belly fat here, here, and right there. Take this to lose it." I bet the percentage of people who actually have fat in those areas are 1% of the people who are seeing the commercial. It's probably higher, but I like to exaggerate. Other commercials I love are ones to lower your cholesterol or deal with heart burn. They say you should buy the medicine, then it talks about all these horrible side effects.
"Take this cholesterol medicine. Common side effects include raging diahrea, temporary or sometimes permanent loss of sight, and sometimes fatal side effects. So what are you waiting for? Buy this now!"
