I've always disliked the phrase "No offense", because whenever someone says it, they always say something that's offensive. I like it better when people just insult me regularly, but when people say no offense, I know something really bad is coming, something so bad, the person has to add "no offense" to try to take some of the edge off. People will say like "No offense, but you suck at everything you do", or "No offense, but you are the ugliest person I've ever seen and you deserve to die because of your appearance." You never hear "offense" though, like "Offense, you're a retard." Personally, I have yet to hear someone say that.

This is weird, as in, very coincidental. I like Stephen King, and about 2 weeks ago I just went to the library to find something by him. Also, I had just purchased Needful Things, the movie, off eBay (Needful Things is also a Stephen King book). So at the library, I took out The Dead Zone, and I read it over a 2 week vacation (I took out the book a day before leaving). I come back, and Needful Things had arrived. I opened it and I sit down on the couch and I'm reading it. So I put it down, and my TV Week is right on the table, and I put it down and BAM right on the cover of TV Week in big letters is "The Dead Zone", the book I had just read. And I'm like "Holy crap!" So I open it, and I'm reading about it, and the show is based on the book (I didn't even know there was a show...), and I'm reading about it and the plot goes along with the book, so I understood what they were talking about. I'm going to watch it Sunday, I'm excited to see it, being I just read the book.
