I'm all against terrorism, I'm not a big fan of terrorists; if you asked me if I liked terrorists, I would say no. But there are those commercials saying you should have a plan in case of a terrorist attack... and it has that girl saying "what should I do in case of a terrorist attack?" It sounds noble, but upon closer review, it makes no sense at all. First, what would a girl that age be doing alone? She'd probably be with a parent or some kind of adult, she doesn't need to know what the hell is going on. Also, parents exaggerate the danger of terrorist attacks. I'm not saying they're not dangerous, but as shown with 9/11, terrorists focus on big areas, and plus, 9/11 is really the only big terrorist incident in history (at least that I know of), so there's no point in scaring a kid senseless about something that is unlikely to happen again. Let's say the girl is alone, lives in Maryland, and she's watching CNN. Then it says "special report: terrorist attack in California." She'll probably go crazy thinking that the next attack will be her house, and probably die struggling to use the phone properly. That's an exaggeration, I love to exaggerate.
I had an awesome dream a couple of days ago, it was one of those dreams where I realized it was a dream. The mind is an awesome thing, dreams are one of the miracles of life. Dreams are like reality, except they're not real at all. Some would call them fake; not me, I think they are surreal, which is easy for me to say, because I don't know what that word means. Back to the dream. There was a lot of other stuff, but I'll just skip right to the dream-realization part. Well, I was standing in the hall of my school, and I just realized (in my dream) that I was in a dream. Oh yeah, I was walking down the hall, than I jumped and I sorta flew a little, so then I realized. So I said to myself (in the dream), "Whoah, I'm in a dream, this is awesome! What should I do... should I try to fly, or should I conjure myself a gun and start blasting this place a part." For some reason, thinking back I should've chosen fly, I wanted to get the gun. So I was trying to make one appear, but I couldn't, and I'm like "I can't concentrate too hard or I'll wake up." But then I couldn't do it, and I was getting frustrated, so I just concentrated really hard, and then it slipped away and there was just darkness. God dammit.
