I love Who Wants to be a Millionaire, that's a great show, but sometimes the people there piss me off. There are two ways for Millionaire contestants to piss me off: A. Not knowing the answer to a very easy question (or a question I know the answer to), or B. Using a lifeline to "make sure". They'll say "I'm pretty sure this is the answer, but I think I'll ask the audience as backup". STUPID STUPID STUPID. You DO NOT use a lifeline just as backup, you use it when you don't know the answer. If you are pretty sure about the answer, you go for it, you don't use a lifeline, and you only have three, to back you up. What pisses me off more is that they usually use Ask the Audience, the most valuable lifeline. They should phone a friend, or better yet, 50/50, but no, to back them up, they use their most valuable lifeline. It's BS, and I won't stand for it.
UPDATE!! I was watching Who Wants to be a Millionaire last night, and the weirdest thing I have ever seen happened. There was this fat guy on, who reminded me SO MUCH of Craig from Malcolm in the Middle. He was fat, worked in a grocery store, and was aspiring to be an actor (where have I heard that before? EVERYWHERE!) So, he got up to the $125,000 question, and he had his Phone-A-Friend lifeline left. He said "I'm sure other people want to get up here, so I'll just walk." So he walked. First of all, it was the end of the show, and after he left the show ended, but what was weird is HE DIDN'T USE HIS LIFELINE! He gave up a potential extra $61,000. He had the damn lifeline, he didn't FREAKING USE IT. He walked a-freakin'-way with his phone a friend, what if one of his friends knew the answer? It was a hard question but they might have known, and he didn't even try. That really gets to me, I mean, potentially giving up so much money. I hate that man, and I hope his fat gives him a heart attack. Not deadly, just to put him away for awhile to think about what he's done.
